As the leader of the MT series, it commands full respect, with its striking new headlight assembly and redesigned tank highlighting the MT-10’s exceptional mechanical aesthetics. From the moment you hear the deep intake roar of the 998cc CP4 engine through the air intake, you’ll realise this bike is the perfect match for you.
Nestled within the lightweight Deltabox chassis is an intricate suite of electronic rider aids aimed at providing optimal controllability. With adjustable advanced systems managing traction, slides, wheelies, engine braking, and overall braking, you can customise your MT-10’s performance to fit your preferences.
The MT-10's powerful 998cc CP4 engine offers unmatched thrill. Its crossplane design creates a unique firing sequence for impressive torque and acceleration, enhanced by a tuned intake system that amplifies sound.
The MT-10's advanced suspension system has specific settings for precise handling and strong road grip in both city streets and mountain corners. The 43mm fully adjustable KYB front forks offer 120mm travel, customizable for personal riding preferences, along with a fully adjustable KYB rear shock for different loads and styles.
The titanium exhaust is designed to produce a deep, unique sound that highlights the bike’s uneven firing. At low speeds, the exhaust sound is strong, while at higher speeds, the intake roar dominates, enhancing the thrilling acceleration and torque of the powerful engine.
The next evolution of the MT-10 has an R1-based 4. 2in full-colour TFT display that shows all important information clearly. A menu switch on the right handlebar lets riders choose displayed info, while the ‘Mode/Select’ switch on the left adjusts electronic rider aids' levels or turns them on or off.
The aluminium Deltabox chassis, based on the R1, is one of the lightest and strongest designs available. It handles 200bhp and keeps weight low by using the CP4 engine. The long aluminium swingarm and compact wheelbase of 1405mm provide stable and agile handling at different speeds.
The MT-10 has a high-quality braking system with dual floating 320mm discs and 4-piston radial-mounted callipers, offering top-stopping performance. It features a Brembo radial front brake master cylinder for better feel and control.
Inside a small black box is a 6-axis Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) that detects pitch, roll, yaw, and acceleration in all directions. The ECU uses this information to activate advanced rider aids like traction control, Slide Control (SCS), wheelie control (LIF), engine braking (EBM), and brake control (BC) for optimal performance on every ride.
For more relaxed riding, the MT-10 has cruise control that activates in 4th, 5th, and 6th gears above 50km/h. A switch on the left handlebar controls the cruise. It also features a Variable Speed Limiter (YVSL), allowing the rider to set a top speed limit to avoid exceeding public road limits.
This electronic system enables you to perform full-throttle clutchless upshifts, as well as smoother and more controlled clutchless downshifts that – along with the A&S clutch – helps to maintain chassis stability when decelerating.
The MT-10 features a unique design with a minimalist and strong look. It has compact LED headlights that offer great lighting, along with LED position lights above them. The nose assembly enhances its appearance, while larger ducts on the fuel tank improve engine power.
