THE WINNING ADVANTAGE

The CRF450R is built to win and shot through with MXGP championship-owning DNA. Its development has gone hand in hand with racing success, and the new CRF450R draws on all the lessons fought in the heat of battle to make going fast—fast—easy, especially on a rough racetrack.

It’s the lightweight, quick-steering tool it’s always been. However, a new rigidity balance for the aluminium twin-spar frame ups high-speed stability in tough conditions, with completely new ShowaTM suspension front and rear raising the game in terms of control and traction. And the awesome engine matches the chassis upgrade with more power and an even more precise throttle connection that delivers relentless, race-winning drive.

What works for the CRF450R also works for the enduro-ready CRF450RX. It’s got MX core abilities to smoke a special test but is designed to shine, with devastating speed, away from the specific demands of a closed MX track out on an open off-road course—whatever terrain that means.

Sharing the 2025 updates, the CRF450RX employs unique settings for both ECU and ShowaTM suspension, opening up performance across a broader

Boosted 449.7cc Four-Valve Unicam Engine

More direct intake airflow improves response out of tight turns, plus there’s more power past peak to maintain the drive. A 100mm longer exhaust downpipe builds in mid-range controllability.

3-Mode Engine Mode Select Button (EMSB)

Set the engine character just how you want it. Through 3-Mode EMSB choose between balanced power and torque delivery, smoothed performance for slippery mud, and all-out power for deep sand.

3-Level Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC)

Minimise spin and maximise drive – HSTC offers light, medium, and strong intervention levels to suit terrain or riding style. HSTC can also be turned off.

Redesigned Airbox

The new shape provides a straighter pathway for airflow to deliver more torque and better throttle control. The CRF450R’s air filter features a spring-loaded clip design and an optimised rubber gasket for easy cleaning and improved serviceability.

Redesigned Frame

Superior handling starts with an exceptional frame, and the CRF450R delivers. The updated chassis features optimised rigidity and reduced weight while enhancing responsiveness and stability. Feel the difference in comfort and performance as you take on the track in front of you.

Showa Fork

The 49mm Showa® fork features a conventional spring design that helps increase front-suspension precision, handling and feel. New springs, seals and valving improve the consistency of the stroke feel throughout the entire range of travel, delivering a smoother and more controlled ride.

New Triple Clamps

New top and bottom triple clamps work with the new frame, revised fork, new front axle and new steering stem for a more consistent suspension feel throughout the stroke. Together, the new hardware helps improve the responsiveness, rigidity and turning performance of the new line. The road to perfect balance starts here.

Subframe Relocated

The new mounting point optimises lateral rigidity and reduces energy transmission from the rear of the bike to the front. Rear-shock removal time has been reduced by eliminating the need to detach the subframe to access the shock.

Front Brake Calliper

The CRF450R’s front brake caliper features an updated piston and seal for consistent braking performance throughout every ride. New machined accents add a premium finish that blends with the bike's sleek lines to keep your CRF looking as good as it performs.

Rear Suspension Linkage

The new frame design on the CRF450R leaves room for a specialised rear shock. The shock’s valving resets fast for better response and handling on any terrain. It even features a special steel spring that cuts weight without cutting performance, so you can own the track lap after lap.
