One of the KX250’s greatest strengths is its engine, and that performance is available on the KX250X. In addition to the hard-hitting fuel-injected 249 cc liquid-cooled, 4-stroke single, the KX250X also shares the electric start, hydraulic clutch and the multi-map programmable race ECU of the high-performance motocrosser.
Light and nimble handling come by way of a lean, lightweight chassis, the same one featured on the KX250 motocross bike. Overall weight is kept low thanks to a well-balanced aluminium perimeter frame, which also allows for slim ergonomics.
The KX250X motorcycle is built to meet the tough demands of cross-country racing. Cross-country wheels (F21"/R18") are paired with soft-to-intermediate terrain Dunlop Geomax AT81 tyres. A factory-style skid plate and a convenient side stand both come as standard equipment.
Slim ergonomics stem from a narrow frame and minimalist bodywork. To help facilitate the perfect fit, the KX250X motorcycle features ERGO-FIT adjustability. Four handlebar positions and two footpeg positions allow you to tailor the KX250X to your body size, riding style, and preference.
