The liquid-cooled 998 cc In-Line Four Balanced Supercharged Engine produces peak power unprecedented in Z Supernaked model history. The engine generates strong low- to mid-range torque and provides smooth, responsive acceleration, resulting in powerful yet manageable power.
The Kawasaki Racing Team-inspired dog-ring transmission delivers high-performance shifting with light operation and crisp, rapid shifts for quick acceleration.
The assist cam reduces clutch spring load, resulting in lighter clutch lever operation and less rider fatigue in city riding situations such as stop-and-go traffic or traffic jams. The slipper cam relieves pressure from back-torque, preventing the rear tyre from hopping and skidding during downshifting.
The intake duct has a fine-tuned shape that emphasises the supercharger's operating sound, creating a distinct and emotional engine sound, unlike anything you have heard before.
The trellis frame is designed for a unique blend of high-speed stability and light handling, allowing you to enjoy the ride with exceptional handling performance and confident control.
The adjustable Showa SFF-BP front fork provides improved handling, and the New Uni Trak rear suspension includes a Showa shock absorber with adjustable rebound damping and spring preload for personalised performance.
The Brembo M4.32 monobloc callipers are radially mounted and grip large ø320 mm discs for powerful braking.
An upright handlebar and seat, combined with an optimised base plate and cushion thickness, create a comfortable riding position with plenty of movement. The wide, Fat-type (large-diameter) handlebar allows for easy rider input, while compact control switches add to the sophisticated fit and finish.
The Ram Air intake duct on the left side of the chassis complements the Z H2's design and showcases its supercharged engine, reflecting the bike's boosted performance.
