Significantly lighter and much more powerful, with class-leading handling and specification, plus all of Triumph’s new T-plane triple performance advantage, the all-new Tiger 1200 has been designed to be the world’s most capable, agile and manoeuvrable large-capacity adventure motorcycle.
For 2024, the Tiger 1200 GT Explorer has been significantly updated to be more advanced and refined than ever. Featuring improved low-speed control, increased ground clearance, and enhanced comfort and ergonomics.
In addition to the adjustable seat height of 850-870mm, the Active Preload Reduction feature can further lower the bike by up to 20mm when coming to a stop, depending on the combined weight of the rider, pillion, and luggage.
The unique T-Plane triple engine blends the low-speed capability of a twin with the top-end performance of a triple, combined with a lightweight shaft drive to set the benchmark for character. Increased inertia, improved balance, and revised calibration further refine the engine response and feel.
The GT Explorer’s 30-litre fuel tank gives a 50% greater range than the GT and GT Pro, making it the ideal touring choice, whilst maintaining all of the GT’s exceptional low-speed balance and manoeuvrability.
A major safety innovation developed in partnership with Continental, the GT Explorer benefits from a rear-mounted radar that gives you both Blind Spot Assist and Lane Change Assist features.
Standard fit on the GT Explorer for enhanced rider safety and convenience, the Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) delivers real-time information and rider peace of mind.
The GT Explorer is fitted with heated rider and pillion seats as standard for all-weather comfort on every journey, with multiple temperature settings and independent rider and pillion adjustment.
Sturdy engine bars offer excellent protection, with a contemporary design and even more adventure style, perfectly complementing the stylish lightweight tubular frame.
Innovative, maintenance-free LED adaptive cornering lights, Daytime Running Light and auxiliary lights enhance visibility, safety, and riding enjoyment.
Rain, Road, Sport, Off-Road, and a configurable ‘Rider’ mode adjust throttle, traction control, ABS and suspension settings to suit all conditions, terrain, and rider preferences for enhanced comfort and control.
To further enhance the excellent all-day comfort, the latest generation features a flatter seat profile with more space for the rider to move. Revised footpeg positions increase ground clearance and a longer clutch lever reduces rider fatigue.
