Replacement shields for the R22.06 Gringo S and Gringo SV helmets are made from injection-moulded polycarbonate thermoplastic, which is highly scratch- and impact-resistant. An anti-fog treatment is applied to ensure maximum optical clarity.

Care and Maintenance:

To clean your shield, use a mild soapy water solution and a microfiber cloth, then dry it with a clean towel. Avoid harsh chemicals, especially on the inside, as they can damage coatings. If the retainer snap on your Gringo S shield is tight, apply a drop of light household oil inside. Use medium-strength blue Loc-Tite on both hinge screw threads each time you install a shield.
