The adhesive pads are still not great. The unit fell off when it got a light bump putting the helmet back in the bag. I have since changed to the adapter plate to fit the Shoei GT Air 2. Even that is not great. If for some reason it becomes detached at speed the only thing stopping it maybe the cord that plugs in for the speakers.
