Works really well with keeping the straps in place.

Before i knew that this item existed, i planned on making a set by buying 4 female buckles and 25mm elastic. the buckles are not available as stand alone items but the Connector kit is. the idea is simple and the product is efective however, it would have been so much better if the linking bands were elastic therby preventing the need to reposition the strap length of the bike mounted male buckles. I actually cut the kit straps off and used elastic instead (much easier and more effective).
