ASTRO 32 litres Top Box is the first hard motorcycle luggage from Ventura. The designers and engineers at Ventura have continued the Ventura philosophy of the Bike-Pack system, for the first time offering a lockable hard luggage system that helps with mass centralisation by carrying the load as close to the centre of the bike as possible.

The ASTRO Top-Box is a hard luggage top box with a 32-litre capacity that comes with a mounting plate and universal fitting kit

The Astro Top Box has been developed alongside a special Top Box Rack that fits your existing Bike-Pack System.

The mounting plate that is supplied with the Astro Top-Box mounts to the Top-Box Rack (which you will need to purchase separately, shown fitted in image) using the four M6 Allen head bolts, spring washers and flat washers that are supplied.

Because of the way it is designed the rack can be fitted facing forward when riding solo or to the rear with a pillion. Normally you would open the box from the rear as that is where the reflectors are. If you then turned the rack so it was facing forward it would necessitate turning the mounting plate on the rack. However, there is no reason, other than personal preference, to which way it opens.

A versatile opening and detaching system that can be operated even when wearing gloves reflective panels for increased rear visibility keyed access to the box

Overall this was well priced it is a cheap bag and that's what you get. The lock system is a bit weird to use but overall it suits the purpose. Bikebiz are very easy to deal with I love ordering stuff from them.

Bought my Ventura Astro 32litre top box for $90….quite straight forward to install on my V Strom 650….you have to temper your expectations with the price you pay….the closing and locking mechanism is terrible and will frustrate you…but it does house a full face helmet….also the rims mean that the box isn’t waterproof…so expect some water ingress during heavy rain events….all in all…it does its job and for the money….cant complain
