The exhaust that helped Chase Sexton win the 450 Supercross championship in 2023! Yoshimura unveils the most recent titanium RS-12 exhaust system for the 2023 Honda CRF450R as part of its never-ending quest to create the best exhaust system possible.

Why did we undertake the task of developing a completely new system for the CRF450? With the latest engine specs, our engineers wanted to get the most usable power from this new model.

The closest thing to the new strategy used by five-time world champion Tim Gajser, Mitch Evans, Ken Roczen, and Chase Sexton to get the holeshot and win races was developed with them. By increasing the resonator in the RS-12 muffler by 50cc (a 14% increase) and adding a second resonator to the header, engineers were able to unlock some insanely usable power from this new and improved system.

What does this translate to?

Easier power delivery
Smoother frontside torque
Allows the rider to ride in a higher gear, thus freeing up suspension.
Less rider fatigue

With its smaller throttle body and new ECU settings, this new system, which is made with premium-grade Japanese titanium tubing, boosts the new engine's maximum horsepower and torque by 5% and 6.5%, respectively.

The RS-12 is proudly developed, designed, and made in the USA.
