Access The Next Level Now

The bike comes with an aggressive M1-derived cowl that helps it deliver ultimate performance with its aerodynamic bodywork. It has next-generation LED headlights and restyled LED position lights that reinforce its intimidating presence.

The Brake Control (BC) and Engine Brake Management (EBM) systems ensure you have full control while riding. Additionally, each of the seven adjustable electronic rider aids can be fine-tuned in seconds via the YRC system. With the uprated suspension, a highly refined EU5 engine, and premium RS11 tyres, the YZF-R1 has taken the bar to a new level.

998cc CP4 Engine

The 998cc EU5 crossplane engine is developed using M1 MotoGP technology. It features Bosch injectors and finger-follower rocker arms for high-rpm performance. The engine also has a high-efficiency lubrication system for optimal performance.

Advanced Bodywork

The YZF-R1 has a factory-bike look based on the Yamaha M1 MotoGP bike. Its integrated fairing flows seamlessly into the fuel tank sides, giving a tight tuck-in position for efficient aerodynamics, while the aggressive front cowl and screen offer minimal drag.

Brake Control System

The YZF-R1 motorcycle has seven electronic control systems that include Brake Control (BC) technology. It has two modes and helps prevent wheel lock-ups by modulating hydraulic brake pressure using data analysis of lean angle and slipping acceleration.

Engine Brake Management

The Engine Brake Management (EBM) system lets you adjust engine braking force to suit different riding situations with a choice of three modes.

Enhanced Suspension

The R1 has 43mm KYB forks with damping valves and an advanced rear shock. The result is a suspension that makes you feel connected to the road like the bike is an extension of your body.

Quick Shift System

The YZF-R1 has a Quick Shift System for faster gear changes, enabling clutchless upshifts for better acceleration through its 6-speed transmission.

slide-wrap-6

6-Axis IMU

The 6-axis IMU uses a gyro sensor to measure pitch, roll and yaw, and a G-sensor to measure acceleration. This technology enables rider aids like Traction Control, Slide Control, Wheel Lift Control, and Brake Control.

Accelerator Position Sensor

Yamaha's YCC-T is activated by a high-tech twist grip assembly, giving a natural feel for precise control. The lightweight APSG twist grip offers instant throttle response with a smooth and progressive feel.

LED Headlights

Lightweight, compact LED twin headlights for both the low and high beam, combined with the body styling, creates a front face symbolizing the next-generation of R-Series design.
