The RST Contour Plus Level 2 back protector is tested to the higher standard set out under European standard EN 1621-2:2003. Alongside protecting the spine there is now considerable anecdotal evidence that wearing a certified back protector can significantly reduce trauma in a major accident as they reduce the effect of impacts on the ribs and lessen the blows to internal organs too. A CE Level 2 back protector transmits less than half of the force of an impact compared to a CE Level 1 back protector.

Level 2 CE gives top protection. Fits all RST gear and many other jackets too. You dont even know its there

The RST Contour Plus Level 2 CE Back protector fits perfectly in my RST jacket. It's nice to have that extra protection just incase. Once fitted it easily contours to your back & you don't even know it's there, I highly recommend this to all motorcyclists.
